Isus uči svoje učenike da trebaju primjećivati znakove, procjenjivati ih te popravljati i mijenjati život kako bi na koncu života i vremena mogli stati pred Sina čovječjega.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM The annual Christmas Program will be held on Sunday, December 13th at 12:00PM. Lunch will be served, followed by program and a special visitor for the children. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION is a holiday of obligation and will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 8th with Masses at 7:30AM (English) and 7:00PM (Croatian). OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE The 78th Annual Procession and Mass in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe will take place on Sunday, December 6th, 12 Noon, at the corner of Cesar Chavez and Ford Blvd. in East L.A. NEW YEAR’S EVE is to be held in our Parish Center on Thursday, December 31st. REMEMBER YOUR PARISH Please remember the good works of our parish or school in your will or trust. If your family’s needs are being met, you may wish to include the parish as a beneficiary of your IRA. Contact your IRA Trustee and ask for a change of beneficiary forms to include your parish or school as a recipient of your good stewardship. |

DOŠAŠĆE Prva nedjelja Došašća otkriva nam konačni smisao našega života i ukazuje nam na našu konačnu nadu. Ponajprije se spominjemo Kristova prošlog dolaska među nas ljude i tako se pripravljamo na ovogodišnji blagdan Božića. ŽUPSKI VJERONAUK se održava svake nedjelje pred župsku misu od 9:30-10:15 u učionicama župskog centra. USUSRET STOGODIŠNJICI ŽUPE Nastavljamo sa slikanjem za župsku spomenicu. Nazovite Nancy Brkić u župskom uredu i predbilježite se za slikanje. ZAHTJEV ZA REGISTRACIJU BIRAČA za predsjedničke izbore u Republici Hrvatskoj podnosi se konzulatu RH u Los Angelesu svakoga radnog dana u vremenu od 8:30 do 16:30 sati. DRUGA KOLEKTA na 13. prosinca na kraju sv. Mise ide u fond koji pokriva životne troškove i medicinsku skrb 5,452 redovnika i redovnica kojima to njihove redovničke zajednice ne mogu priskrbiti.

CROATIAN CHILDREN SCHOOL is in session after 10:30AM Mass. However, the enrollment is still open. The parents are invited to an important meeting with the Executive School Board today after 10:30AM Mass. PARISH CENTENNIAL DIRECTORY We are continuing to take photos for the parish directory. Call Nancy Brkić at the parish office (213)628-2938 to schedule your photo session time for the Parish Centennial Directory. PARISH ADULT CHOIR has begun with its weekly Wednesday 7:00PM practice. Due to the special program planned for next year’s parish centennial celebrations, the present choir has been enlarged and is still open to the new members who have talent and love for music and our Croatian parish. If interested, please see Fr. Mate or Tom Yeseta. CATECHISM CLASSES are being held every Sunday. Religious education classes begin at 9:30AM until 10:15 before Mass. BAKE SALE Today after the 10:30AM Mass you can purchase your holiday nutrolls and assorted cookies in the small hall. Kolo and Tamburica are fundraising to pay for new costumes and boots. RETIREMENT FUND FOR RELIGIOUS 37,870 women and men religious are past age 70 and 5,452 of them need our help with the current high cost of living and health care. |
