PARISH ADULT CHOIR

has begun with its weekly Wednesday 7:00PM practice. Due to the special program planned for next year’s parish centennial celebrations, the present choir has been enlarged and is still open to the new members who have talent and love for music and our Croatian parish. If interested, please see Fr. Mate or Tom Yeseta.

CATECHISM CLASSES

are being held every Sunday. Religious education classes begin at 9:30AM until 10:15 before Mass.

BAKE SALE

Today after the 10:30AM Mass you can purchase your holiday nutrolls and assorted cookies. Kolo and Tamburica are fundraising to pay for new costumes and boots.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM

is to be held in our Parish Center on Thursday, December 31st.
The entertainment is provided by well known band “Majstori” from Chicago. Further information to follow.

REMEMBER YOUR PARISH

Please remember the good works of our parish or school in your will or trust. If your family’s needs are being met, you may wish to include the parish as a beneficiary of your IRA. Contact your IRA Trustee and ask for a change of beneficiary forms to include your parish or school as a recipient of your good stewardship.
Past generations of parishioners have taken great pride in making bequests to the parish. If you wish to perpetuate your own ideals, contact the rectory and they will give you some specific areas of need within the parish.
A gift of appreciated stock avoids capital gains tax. You will be able to deduct the full value of the stock, avoid capital gains tax, and make a substantial gift to the parish or school.

SVETKOVINA KRISTA KRALJA

Danas slavimo svetkovinu Krista Kralja, kojom završava liturgijska godina. Krist je gospodar povijesti i Sudac ljudskoga roda. Eto, to je smisao njegove odgovornosti i njegova kraljevstva. On je vodič svoga naroda. On će odijeliti dobre od zlih i o svima će izreći konačan sud i istinu.

ŽUPSKI VJERONAUK

se održava svake nedjelje pred župsku misu od 9:30-10:15 u učionicama župskog centra.
Upis vjeroučenika se još uvijek nastavlja.

USUSRET STOGODIŠNJICI ŽUPE

Nastavljamo sa slikanjem za župsku spomenicu. Nazovite Nancy Brkić u župskom uredu i predbilježite se za slikanje.
Idući datum slikanja za stogodišnji župski spomenar bit će 3. 4. i 5. prosinca. Možete se predbilježiti danas poslije sv. Mise kod Vlaste ili Nancy, a bila bi velika pomoć, ako biste se javili u župski ured kao dragovoljni pomoćnik pri slikanju.

CROATIAN CHILDREN SCHOOL

is in session after 10:30AM Mass. However, the enrollment is still open. The parents are invited to an important meeting with the Executive School Board today after 10:30AM Mass.

PARISH CENTENNIAL DIRECTORY

We are continuing to take photos for the parish directory. Call Nancy Brkić at the parish office (213)628-2938 to schedule your photo session time for the Parish Centennial Directory.
The next session of taking pictures is December 3-5. You may book your appointment with Vlasta or Nancy today after Sunday Mass. Also, call the rectory if you would like to volunteer for this enormous project.

CHRIST THE KING

Today, we celebrate the King of All Creation, with that the liturgical year comes to an end. The end of the liturgical year through which we lived the history of salvation which will come to an end in the institution of that everlasting and universal Christ’s Kingdom of life, justice, peace and love.

THANKSGIVING WEEK

The rectory office will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday November 27th. We will resume regular hours on Monday, November 30th. Have a blessed Holiday!
